I was ecstatic when 2020 came. My birthday happened and my parents allowed me to go Seventeen's Concert then all of a sudden, Coronavirus came. It was like a bright and sunny day suddenly engulfed with darkness. All of the people have to adjust with the new normal. When there is no pandemic, I had wished for a long summer break but now, I wish everything was like before. Free to do anything, can meet with friends and family. Now, people are stuck in their houses to stay safe. I mean, it is good to stay inside the house to avoid getting the virus but I miss to go out. That's when I realized, maybe I should do something new and fun without going out.

In the first few days of quarantine, I spent all of my time watching K-Dramas, YouTube videos and Mukbang. And then, I got tired of it. Now, I am starting to make blogs, take care of myself and started planting flowers and cactus outside the house. I have never felt so alive and healthy as before. I became more conscious to my surroundings. Especially we have a new routine when going out of the house. I am the eldest in the siblings that is why I go out to do groceries. I have never went out unless I have to deal with important matters.

Here are my quarantine routine for before going out: First, I make sure that I always have mask and face shield. An alcohol, hand sanitizer and tissue or wet wipes. Even though it is humid in the Philippines, I still wear jeans, shirt, jacket and rubber shoes. I have this mind set that if I am able to wear this type of clothing, I have the less percentage of getting infected since I'm all wrapped up head-to-toe. I use the wipes and alcohol for disinfecting carts in groceries and once I stepped in to the household, I wash up again, put my clothes to the washing machine and dryer and then disinfect my bag and the things that I brought home just to make sure.

I know, paranoid ,right? Still, I'll continue doing this since I think it is the safest way. It then registered in me that the pandemic is kind of a blessing in disguise. During pandemic, I get to be a better version of myself, I get to know myself more and have done things I did not think I could do! Well that's it for now. Thank you for stopping by <3
